Handmade satisfaction. One of the things I love most about Halloween is putting a costume together! I am a big believer in making your own with maybe a few store bought elements like tights, wigs etc. It's so much fun!
In my closet I have a medium sized old luggage case where I keep a lot of scarves, wigs, accessories to use just for dressing up. If you don't know by now; I'm a very festive person so I take any opportunity to use these items.
In years past I've been, Cleopatra, Medusa, an angel, little red riding hood and this year I'm going as Marie Antoinette. I actually made my costume from old button down shirts and a few embellishments. It really turned out awesome and I had as much fun wearing it as creating the look.
I know it's Halloween, but if you haven't decided what to be yet; don't be afraid to look in your own closet...you'll be surprised what you can find!
